Pre-
and Postdoctoral Positions
As part of this program, predoctoral and postdoctoral positions are available.
According to the rules of the network program, the posts are only open to
nationals of European Union countries (and Associated States) other than
that in which the post is held. (See this site for an up-to-date list of FP6 Associated States.) Applicants
should also be under 36 years of age and should not have been resident in
the country where they work for more then 12 month in the two years before
the start of the post. The salary at each institution will be paid in accordance
with local regulations. The appointment will normally be for 2 years for
a postdoc with a possibility of a 1 year extension. In accordance with the
emphasis on mobility in the program, the successful candidates will be encouraged
to participate in scientific exchange in the network by working at 2 or
more network institutes during the course of their appointment. Applications
should include a curriculum vitae, a publication list, a summary of current
research interests, the names of three references and arrange for letters
from the three referees.
